A story that
begins with the sea

Our story is something like a fairy tale built on passion and perseverance. It all began in 2002 on the beach at Cannitello, among the swordfish boats and the fishermen’s vessels, with a small seasonal chiringuito opened by former sailor and fisherman Gaetano Bevacqua together with his wife Irma and their children Giovanni, Antonio and Giusy. Year after year, that simple beach kiosk grew into a restaurant of reference for the area, then a prestigious banqueting hall, and finally part of a five-star property such as the Altafiumara Resort.

In between, a shared dream: a project born a few years ago in Milan with the ambition of telling the flavours and traditions of the Strait beyond the borders of the region.
